I heard people are skipping or sidestepping while walking in the DC area to avoid getting hit by the sniper. I'm not making that up. So gaming experts' advice of "never stop moving" and "strafe move" have a practical use looks like.

this is getting really scary now..I know I would atleast power walk to the destination I had to go to If I lived in VA. or DC.

I tried the double jump from UT2k3, but it wouldn't work. My students just looked at me funny.
The Montgomery County police are getting assistance from and using resources of the Secret Service and other agencies.

No, you just sort of fly around like a ghost, you can then see where the sniper was, but you are unable to tell anyone about it until your next life.

No, that would just happen the sniper, if you are playing in Nightmare. I prefer to type GOD . The police should type IDSPISPOPD to get him inside his hidings or IDMAP to know where he is.

You have a good point. But notice that a sniper represents the fate. And people are more afraid of bad fate than random crime.
The oposite also holds. That is a person can momentarily have more hope to have a lot of money when playing in the lottery than to have a lot of money by opening a business.

I hope these are the guys, so they can get a taste of their own medicine. Too bad Utah is the last state with a firing squad for executions.
I dislike executions mainly because IMO if 1 person had to be executed then I would prefer everyone in the world to be executed.
I could nitpick at everyone in the world on why they should die if I wanted to.
The reason I don't is because it's not right to let anger or hatred get the better of you. A form of punishment would be good but executing someone is just one of those things that spout from hatred and anger. I would not let any of those feelings get the better of me.
IMO it would be nice if he had 15+ years in jail.

Rifle matches 11 of the 13 shootings for sure, so yes, it is the right guy.

The rifle fires .223 rounds, it is a Bushmaster, found that rifle, a scope, and a tripod in the car. The other guy was linked to a murder last month. They got the car which was seen leaving the scene of some of the shootings. The car was modified so the guys could shoot from inside the trunk laying down and have the other guy be the lookout. Everything is being checked thuroughly by the ATF and FBI. One of the guy's is ex-military expert marksman(sniper) and feels good about September 11 terrorist attacks. We should know soon, I beleive that these guys are the ones that committed these horrible crimes and we should find out within the next few days. The cheif is already saying that they got their men.
