I noticed when I run Dawn it will hang when I escape out of it. I also noticed during Steam with Day of Defeat that when I exit out of a game and it goes to the soldier splash screen it will lock up and I have to use task manager to exit out. I am using the 61.71s and I have my GT up to 400/1100

Any one else having problems???

See if you have the same problem with it clocked default.

Day of defeat is open gl. I have been having all of my open gl games locking up on me (some after I exit) ever since installing the 6xxx series of drivers. My 5600 worked fine with the 5xxx but ever since I got the 6800 and used the 6xxx none of my open gl games work properly and most of them I can't even play. I underclocked the card even and it still does the same thing.

Disable "fast writes" in your bios. That should fix the issue.

No dice....Fastwrites had been turned off all along but I tried enabling it for the hell of it and still no luck.

Did you reformat or just uninstall reinstall from you old card?
If you didnt format try driver cleaner http://www.driverheaven.net/cleaner/
