Yes I've noticed that too. The only way around it is to right-click it to open in a new tab.

There's also other problems, but more importantly, they need to revamp the options setting. I can't change crap through it. I want full access.
Yeah a heap of problems.. but way better than IE... the only thing which i find disappionting is how slow it loads pages with a heap of images on them compared to IE. That and compatibility(Eg, the new anandtech flash graphs that are meant to change when you move your mouse over - not in FF), but thats to be expected with lesser 'market share'.

I don't want to put down Firefox, but have any of you taken Opera for a test drive? I tried both, and decided to buy Opera. It has quick load times, though I do have some CSS issues from time to time.
I think both browsers are a world of improvement compared to IE, but I favor Opera a tad more.

type about:config in your address bar for goodies.
Not my fault if you screw up anything.

That's a problem with Firefox's popup-blocking code. Anything that pops a new window is blocked until the page finishes loading. Regular links shouldn't exhibit that behavior for you. (Do they?) Opera's blocking code is more polished at this point.

Try right-clicking the Flash object and manually selecting 'play'. I don't read AnandTech, but this has happened to me on a Dell promotional site.
