Pulled this from the Neoseeker review of the BFG 6800 GT OC:

"Under the manual option, they have a "Detect Optimal Frequencies" button."

I installed the drivers that came with my new BFG 6800 GT OC. In Windows, Device Manager, it says the driver version is 6.1.2.1 dated 5/14/2004.

I dont seem to have a "manual" option and/or a "Detect Optimal Frequencies" button.

Why not?

search for coolbits. Once installed (just add reg key) you will have the freq. option

Thanks.

Odd that the review didn't say anything about having to hack the controls in order to enable the features.

Tried the hack.

But to reiterate...

Pulled this from the Neoseeker review of the BFG 6800 GT OC:

"Under the manual option, they have a "Detect Optimal Frequencies" button."

Even with the hack, there is no "manual" option...there is no "Detect Optimal Frequencies" button.

right click desktop > settings >advanced > 6800 gt > Clock Frequencies? > Manual Overclocking > Scroll the agreement all the way down > Accept > Detect Frequencies (name varies in drivers i think)
