I've tried to overclock this thing but it will not budge. I am only able to run it at the default clocks 450/1.2. Has anyone successfully overclocked eVGA's EE?

It's already overclocked, you wont be able to go much higher.

The nice thing is, you get an overclocked card with a warrentee.

Any overclocked card has a warranty =) As long as you don't physically modify it. The vendors have no way to tell if it were OC'd or not.

It won't even do 455/1.2. I guess 450/1.2 will have to suffice.

No. I'm using coolbits.

try rivatuner, revision 14, not 15 though.
what xactly is holding back your overclock, artifacts, throttling, or that the overclock cant pass that stupid testing procedure u have to go through to apply the overclock?
if its number 3, try rivatuner. if its number 1 or 2, try different drivers, like 61.71.

Do different drivers allow you to overclock higher? I ask because when I first got my card, I would OC and every game would work great, except for UT2004.. it would throttle at the exact same position every time, very annoying. Thats why I am not OCing anymore

I know it's not a 6800 Ultra card but I have a similar experience with my X800XT PE. I could overclock it to about 540/585 and run most of my games fine and both 3DMark03 and 3DMark01 tests but it would like up on occasion in UT2K4 and every once in a while in Far Cry. I have since dropped my core clock down to 531.

I guess something in these games is really heating the core up to cause this. My video card runs at a decent temperature compared to what I am seeing from other people's experiences with the same card. I can understand it in an advanced graphic engine like Far Cry has but I am a bit confused why this happens in UT2K4. Hopefully this helps some of you out when trying to figure your overclocks out.

Why would you want to OC this card? To get two more fps in the timedemo?

To each their own, I agree with you though. I OC'd my GT to Ultra speeds, noticed no difference :P So I let it back down to BFG GT default. Less heat, same performance ( experience in game ).

Ok, I'll try it.
