View Full Version : editing the topic
not sure if you're aware, or if anything can be done about it... but when editing a post, you can't edit the actual topic. it would be nice if you could, especially if you accidentally have a grammatical error, or if you want to better suit the topic to what the post is relavent to.
if this could be changed, or there is a way to do it that i'm missing, pls let me know. tnx
right now only Mods can do it...and will probably kept that way.

.
You can actually edit the topic title right after you post it.. but after a little while, you cannot anymore
if this is designed to keep people from changing the name of long threads etc, maybe you should just make it so that you can edit the title until someone replies.
just a suggestion is all. i really don't see how else that could be abused.
You can edit the topic right after you post it.. I have done it numerous times. But as soon as someoneposts, you cannot anymore.

LOL Ok, you win this one. http://www.glocktalk.com/images/smilies/tongue%20out.gif
It would have been funnier if you also locked the thread Mike. LOL!!!
BTW I have a suggestion. All who get banned should have their avatars changed to Titty UDawg or at least a Ban Monkeh avatar. Kind of like the scarlet letter. BAHAHA!
