Whatever you pick depends on what you want to do with the card, because the actual difference between both is cases marginal. Asus's cards are well built so it's horses for courses, without a fancy bag to tip the scales one way or another. µ

Both are excellent cards IMO. The main factor to me is Shader Model 3.0, which a few games I am interested in will support. If I wasn't interested in those games, I would of went with the X800XT for now.

The NV is clearly the better architecture IMO. ATI fans always say NVIDIA uses "brute force" while ATI is "engineered better". I think this statement it total BS this round, as the Ultra is clocked 120MHz slower yet manages to basically tie the X800XT overall.
