I got my eVGA 6800nu late last week. Very impressed with it. Well, I thought I would try to overclock it, and see where it would end up. It will run at 400/900. WOW! With that overclock I get 52,276 in Aquamark and 10034 in 3dmark03. All I can say is WOW!! Oh, using the 61.34 drivers.

Man, thats amazing!! Congrats.. Thats not too far behind the GT. This may really turn out to be the deal of this generation of cards.

I got 52,266 in Aquamark with 350/780, well i didn't push the card that hard.

Looks like an OC doesn't help that card that much... in AQ3...

Wonder what it would do for 3dmark03 @ 12x10, 4xaa/16xAF...

Or RTCW;ET Railgun demo, for that matter....

400 on the core? that's amazing for a NU! Guess you got lucky :D

Maybe HT_Flyer's CPU has something to do with it?

I think something is wrong with his Aquamark score, Our systems are very similar and I get 52,000 Aquamarks @ 350/850 clocks.

(which was a 1,000 point increase for 25 mhz)

Sounds like you got a lot of bang for your buck, grats!

I'm not too surprised by the OC.

All of the NU, GT, and Ultra cores can run at virtually the same speeds.

The only diference is the memory:

DDR for the NU.

2.0 NS GDDR3 for the GT.

1.6 NS GDDR3 for the Ultra.

I'm afraid my luck overclocking the 6800 hasn't been as good. I bought a 6800NU from EVGA, and the highest speed it will let me clock at is 350/775 - both 350/800 and 325/800 give me errors. The temps never go above 65, so it could be a power supply thing, since I have this crappy Antec 300 watt thing that came with my case. I score about 8500 in 3DMark 2003.
