hmmm satman, say when u play UT2k4 etc or Painkiller, and like you busy clicking the left mouse button but when u let go of the clicking...does your character carry on firing away? Just as if the left mous ebutton was stuck...happens on my mx700. and i have to click eiterh of the left or right button to stop it. :wtf:

I had a Logitech Mouseman+ from before optical's time that experienced similar issues. Turns out the mouse was bad, and I had to send it to Logitech for a replacement. Never had any trouble after that.

ugh, why bother with this..

all you have to do is regedit, and add your game's exe into the list, so that the drivers will pass the raw native mouse buttons to your games.. so like for UT2k4, when you press the side buttons, they pop up as MOUSE04 or MOUSE05..

goto the logitech site and search for bind buttons games or something like that..

That happens to me on UT2k4. I thought there was just some gunk under the button; interesting that other people get it. Only happens on my Logitech and not my Microsoft mouse.

Why do u have a problem with this? I posted a link because the author sent me it and I thought, hey some forum members might find it useful? U know being helpful unlike you maybe some ppl do not like playing around with regedit eh? and u use regedit and add your game's ee to the list. Like what list? where? how? I say why bother with your post when u cannot even explain properly what is it that you are trying to show.

Not everyone likes diggin into registry when there are programs like this that may be easier to use, like the rivatuners, atitool for 3d cards.
