Ubisoft is calling its next Splinter Cell title Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

The game is scheduled to ship for Xbox and the PC during the holiday 2004 shopping period. Versions for other platforms will follow in early 2005.

-Optional secondary objectives
-A.I. remembers past events

Yes the graphics in Splinter Cell 3 are absolutely amazing... I was blown away by the screenshots and videos...

Yeah, I cannot wait for this game. Have loved the first two and this one is supposed to have Co-op which looks amazing. And best of all.... they added a knife :).

Sounds pretty cool. Anyone else see those 3d pictures of the game (where it's a single frame but you can rotate the camera around)? Looks pretty sweet, amazing how big of an update the graphics got. I'm actually suprised they're co-developing the game for both the PC and the Xbox, I thought only the PC would be able to handle those graphics. Yet another excellent stealth game we'll be getting this year, it seems that we're now getting 1 or 2 great games in the genre every year now (first with Splinter Cell, then with Pandora Tomarrow, now with Thief 3 and SC3). Wonder how the multiplayer is going to work out...is there going to be any competative multiplayer like in PT or is it just going to be coop? I'm fine with the game either way, can't wait to go through the game with a friend (as good as Halo coop? We'll have to see...)
