Just ordered the BFG 6800 ultra and had a question about hooking it up to the power supply when I get it. Now I know the ultra requires 2 power connections but can I use one unused molex connector with the Y-adaptor and then just plug that into both molex connectors on the card? I'm running a 430 antect tru power PSU so I already know there should be enough juice for it...just was curious about the specific ways to hook it up to the PSU.

Nope, you must connect it to two separate 4-pin molex lines AFAIK.

That is correct. BFG Tech has something listed on their site of a couple different ways you can hook up the card without risking damage to it or any of your other components.

just checked out my rig to see how many free connectors I have...right now I have 3 free so I don't see any problems...thanks for the replies everyone. I also have a x800 xt on pre-order with CDW but i'm probably going to cancel that now considering i'm only 20 in line for the ultra and 70 in line for the ati card.
