Maybe by the time NV50 ships? Wasn't it April they announced the 6800? This is really getting quite rediculous. :screwy:

i read the hardforum the bottleneck is getting the memory for the ultra cards, not the gpu itself.... makes sense since we have plenty of GT's with GPU's that can overclock beyond Ultra levels..

It's all samsung's fault. They are the only guys manufacturing 1.6 NS GDDR-3 RAM.

Since there is no competion from Hynix or other companies, they are just taking their sweet time putting it out.
