If any of you have coolbits2 on your box, can you tell me if your card shows fastwrites as enabled?

This is in reference to this thread (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=29541&page=6)

My BFG6800U does NOT show fastwrites as enabled even though my PNY Ultra did. However, my PNY was unstable with different drivers and even at stock speeds. I've had issues with that card since day one and have yet to hear from PNY to see if they'll help out.

I think it could have something to do with the video card BIOS. Sometimes fastwrites is disabled in the BIOS on engineering samples.

Damn thats wierd. I'm wondering if its worth calling BFGs tech support over just to check it out.

mine are enabled.

make sure you first check your mobo bios. there usually is an option there to turn it on.
