Hello all
I've got an Asus laptop, a L5D series with an Athlon64 with chipset nVidia.
On this, I've installed SuSE linux 9.1, which is updated through internet
(modem ADSL), and WinXP Pro SP1a (dual boot from WinXP). The nVidia
driver for graphic card is installed too.
I would like to use the internal RTC modem (seen as COM3 under WinWP) . According
to lspci -v :
modem : nVidia Corp. : unknown device 00d9 (rev a2) (prog-if 00 [Generic])
Subsystem: Asustek Computer, Inc. : unknown device 1856
Can this "winmodem" work with linux ? It is recognized as Asustek modem by Yast
but I don't know which device to use proposed by kinternet.
About memory stick USB (1.1) , the device is mounted but the system can't access to it.
If someone knows how to access ...
Kind regards !
