 Check NVIDIA's home page!
ROFL
They claim that 51 million "Is 5 times the projected world population in 2050!"
I think they've been watching Terminator too many times :D
I hope their floating point operations have better precision than this :)

Has anyone noticed the flash of something additional written on the whiteboard in the new "Nvidia Club" video. It flashes for about one frame soon after the girl raises her hand. I have watched it many times and I can't make out what it says. Any ideas? If this is a subject that has been covered in the past, I apologize.

Well if it was a joke from Terminator, it would be right in line with all the parody vids and shiz, so who cares?
Huh? You lost me.
nVidia has a typo on the "facts" page.
51,000,000 should be 51,000,000,000.
The fact that it's on a page talking about how many flops/sec they do just adds to the laugh.
The Terminator reference was mine, since they're claiming earth's population will be less than 1% of current levels by 2050.

Philibob do u think sense it was fixed so fast that someone who works for nvidia is on these forums?
it makes sense :D
and this person is even screwed on this website IMO :p hehe
Are we really so vain as to think that we are the only ones who caught the Gflops error on the nVidia website? I won't say they didn't change the website due to this site, but I think the chances that we sparked them to do it are rather thin.

I sent NVIDIA an email but I don't think they would have read it in that time.

VIDEO 4: Scary Graphics :)
Really hope the NV30 isn't called the GeForce 5. Time for a new name with a fresh product.

They sould have seen that coming, cutting it so close (NV30) to the 9700 pro, they really should have just canned the plans for the NV30 and gone straight ahead on to the nv35 to get a jump on ATI, instead of wasting all this time with delays and crap to bring out a so called kick ass card that would be around for a relatively short period before moving on to the next one. ATI already has their top of the line card out so now they have time to come along with their next best one, where as if nvidia had just skipped the nv30 not to mention the newer nv28's, being the current nv25 should be more than enough power for most, they could possibly get ahead of ATI when they release NV35, but as it seems nvidia might be playing catchup for awhile just like AMD vs Intel, now if nvidia could follow the same game plan as AMD (make the current product more efficient at a lower cost to compete performance wise with the competition), they just might get the upperhand considering how much the new ATI card costs. But then again its a bit late in the game to implement a plan like that, by the time a cheaper more efficient product would be released the current top of the line cards would be more affordable anyways!!! Thing is designs are worked up well in advance and the NV35 may not be ready for a long period of time. Could you imagine not having anything except NV25 till next fall? Add to that parts of the NV30 architecture will be used for various derivative products.
If the NV30 isn't all that, better to release it and quickly move on.
