So despite the numbering being lower are these drivers likely to be newer or older then the 62.11 drivers.
If older, it seems silly that they have 62.11 drivers but the one they release is 61.76... Why not improve on the 62.11 build until its stable and fast enough to release?

Because that would be the logical thing to, but if they were to keep improving the driver, we would never see it on nvidia.com. :D
It's like saying why release an operating system in 2004, and call it xxx server 2003. ;)
As I have said a million times before, the general public would make better decisions then the fat cats in charge

Because by the time 62.11 was stable and fast enough to release another driver team would have 62.56 beta ready :)

OK - I need a host :-)
Search for "EDID" or "DDC" in the inf of that driver file. I'm hoping these are the drivers that disable the EDID limitations...

Oh right. So they have more than one driver team working on the drivers at any one time. It makes sense now. Well, I suppose that NVidia at least are bothered about putting up good quality drivers.

I can host for 5GB of bandwidth.
Damnit! ! Anyone hosting yet??
I can host.
That's taking too long ;) Usually, we got these drivers 5 minutes after release :) I hope, you hurry up a little. I want to reinstall Windows and these drivers were perfect for the new system.
Should be up on guru any moment now, I think I'll wait on some feedback before I ditch the 6211s.
Up at guru3d....i am d/ling right now
