First of all .. thanks to Mike for the informative article :thumbsup:
finally i have a good refrence to benchmark UT2004 & i know how to configure it on my own!

I've done the ONS_Dria benchamrk & got those results :

UT2004 Build UT2004_Patch_[2004-06-11_16.51]
Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 3217 MHz with 1023MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5950 Ultra (5672)

-exitafterdemo -benchmark -ini=UT2004.ini -exec=..\benchmark\stuff\demo_ONS_dria.txt -nosound -d3d -1024x768

35.820119 fps rand[937]

-exitafterdemo -benchmark -ini=UT2004.ini -exec=..\benchmark\stuff\demo_ONS_dria.txt -nosound -d3d -1280x1024

30.463902 fps rand[6242]

The bench at both res was @ Highest settings + 4xAA,8xAF .

Looking at the numbers : i got 35.8fps @1024 , while the 6800's score is 37.5fps only ?? do you think theres something wrong considring Mike's PC has a better CPU & GPU :confused:

Glad the article was helpful. The results I posted were from a GeForce 6800 (non-Ultra), which has 128MB of RAM. Only having 128MB of RAM limits the performance of the GeForce 6800 when 4X AA / 8X AF is used with the highest quality setting in UT2004.

Compared to the 37.5 fps at 1024x768 on the GeForce 6800, I was getting 55 fps with the 6800 Ultra.

thats a big differnece indeed between the 6800 & 6800Ultra & 128/256MB cards !!

i'll keep this bench as refernce for my future "intense UT2004" benchmarks instead of doing 5 different benchs & thus more misleading numbers that i dont need :D
