Hope there isnt another thread like this here. Yeah, so just you GT owners, please post your 1)Brand 2)Max Stable OC...Nothing else, just for us to see if there is a pattern evident.

my previous BFG would do 440/1150 - It died.. replacement would do 220ish..

Replacement BFG flashed -> Ultra can do 440/1150 and i'll be trying for more..

And FWIW, Coolbits lets me go to 425/1120. Disabling the driver clock check gets me up to 1140 on the memory with no change on the core.

so Gravy, how much would your current GT do UN-flashed?

the replacement would only do about 220.. so the Ultra flash helped out..

After dinking around I can get up to 415/1.20. I run it at 400/1.10 through. Wish I could get alittle more on that core.

I have the stuff needed to flash, except I have a dead floppy drive I never use. Anyway can I do the bootdisk etc, with a cd that writes and winxp?

Im getting 380 at the moment, but really havnt pushed it or tested or anything. I just set it at 380 and played FarCry, works fine.

my gt does 443/1220 and is completely stable. Can get core up to 450 and get artifacts in far cry only =\

eVGA 6800 GT: 415/1140 is stable but I use 410/1120. Not sure where the memory stops. 1140 is the highest I've tried so far. Edit: 1170 works so now I'm using 1160 as my standard mem setting for benching. 1180 failed the test.

The strange thing with mine is that I can't actually use what the detect-optimal suggests. It always suggests 419/1130 but anything over 415 for the core and I get artifacts. Same with trying to use the auto-overclocking. I think it goes a little too high for the core so I end up getting artifacts in some games.

BFG. Having trouble with stability above 400, but I've only had it for a day. I don't know whether it's drivers or overclocking that is making it glitch, seeing how I haven't sat down and played anything for more than an hour yet.

Any artifacts? Also did you apply AS5 or use the stock thermal paste/thermal tape?

Has anyone pulled off the cooler and applied as5 (or other thermal compound) to get higher core temps?

I have my eVGA set to 400/1100. It can go higher though, I'm just waiting to redo the cooling. besides, ultra speed is fast enough for my system, im already cpu bottleknecked
