It has not been changed, it's taken from the PCGamer review. I don't find the link, but you'll find it there.
It has just been used as a wallpaper...

believe the hype! The only thing I find weird, and I'll just have to 'wait and see'...but the ingame shots look of various quality. Some look this good, but in motion and captured on video a bit grainy and all that....it's really hard to tell how the game will look in motion until we get it. But I have no doubt that's an in game screenshot. That's amazing. If it were doctored people wouldn't even put it up, it would be laughed at and ridiculed.

I am sure thats in game stuff. The alpha looked almost as good. A little more detail has been added to the face and arm.

Im waiting for the demo. If it's just another run and gun FPS I may pass.

the only problem I see with this game graphically is the character detail exceeds the enviroment detail. You've got this incredibly detailed guy walking down a hall with blurred textures...just too much of a mis-match. But i'm still quite hype for the game..dont get me wrong. But if u look at the walls and objects and then look at the characters, you'll see what im talking about.

Your ATi card wouldn't be able to run it anyways. :ORDER:

Hopefully my 5900 is up to the task. ;)

Actually what you are seeing is a real in-game screenshot. What is not told is how it is taken. There is a tool built into the DOOM3 engine that will allow you to bind a key to take a screenshot, but what happens is that it breaks the screen up into many blocks and takes screenshots of each block full screen then stiches them back together. So while it may be a real in-game screen shot, it might also be at 4000 lines of resolution. Hope that helps.

and WHAT ATI card is that? I own a Gainward 5900U bios flashed to 5950U

If you mean my avatar, look at it closely, it's a parody of ATI's "adaptive algorithm" it spells out cheATI, get it...cheat?

I do not want Doom 3 for religious reasons
