Got this at Guru:

This is the official 61.76 NVIDIA release candidate Forceware driver as posted on NVIDIA's Developer site as sources tell us! It's quite rare to see so many leaked ForceWare drivers on the web as we saw the past few weeks.

The files are dated 07/12/2004 and will work with the entire range of Nvidia graphics cards.

I've recompressed the archive towards a lovely 7 MB ! You can install the driver the easy way as a setup.exe is included

I'm checkin them now.

Actually were talking bout this a coupla days ago, was released on Fri.

It looks like 61.76 won't be the driver released next week, something like 61.77 or later.

argh, missed it. sorry.

btw, looks like these haven't helped my performance at all from the 61.72's I was using; Far Cry benches about the same. I still got my best performance from 61.71. Here's my benches with these drivers:

No need to test 1600x12 at this setting since if I'm not @ 60fps I won't use it anyway.

I've only played through the first few levels of FarCry but there is so much crap on the screen I don't even mind playing at 1024x768 with no AA!

LOL, it's a great game, and when you turn up the options (all my settings were set to very high)...it's just mesmerizing! Very cool. Still, I think DOOM3 will blow it away! :D
