hello geezers, anyway, when i run the timbury demo (got it off shareza) it runs at around 1fps, maybe even less. Nalu and clearsailing are up to speed but im not sure why timbury isnt? Any ideas?
Im using the 61.76 drivers, have also tried the 61.72 and 61.71. Card im using is in sig.

I have no clue. I cant even run the demos, I try to run nalu and I get a windows error with the stupid "send to microsoft" no matter what drivers I try, this happens. Timbury is evil, I tried that demo and it messed up my display, made everything all squiggly...like if you've ever put a monitor on a resoltuion it cant handle...had to go into safe mode and uninstall it, and the current drivers to get things running again.

I'm staying away from all these demos till nvidia releases the official ones. You might want to do the same. =)

Not that it should matter since it seems like AA gets disabled anyway but you may want to make sure you have AA/AF set to app control. Running at 1280x1024 I seem to hover in the low 20s for Timbury using a GT at 400/1100. I'm using the eVGA 61.72 drivers but it has worked for me with several of the others as well. I know some of the ATI demos required the AGP ap size in the bios to be like 256 or maybe it was 512 before they'd even run. Maybe you should try that since Timbury supposedly requires a lot of memory. Mine is set to 256, I believe.

I think Timbury needs at least 1 gig of ram to run properly.

I couldn't get Timbury to work either, until I read this post. Now I can run it flawlessly! Thanks guys!
