I just built a new computer a couple days ago, and just put in my 6800 GT. I was a little worried when my 3DMark03 was only 10,853 on stock drivers.

Then I put on the 61.72 drivers and tried again, overclocked to Ultra speeds. This time I only got 8,182!

What's going on?

And in Farcry, the colors are skewed, and the walls are different colors. The water doesn't look like Farcry water, it looks dead, just like a blue color with little unmoving water lines. What's going on?

My specs are:
1 gig XMS 3200 Ram
Athlon 64 3200
120 gig 7200 rpm drive
Epox 8KDA Mobo

Try drivercleaner?

Re-install winXP?

.... might you have accidentally NOT installed DX9.0C in safe mode?

How's the fragmentation level on your HD?

Back down the overclock, the reason your getting a lower score is that the card is likely overheating and you'll see a pause when it's clocked to high.

BTW 10,800 is about right for a stock GT OC.

:retard: :nanahump: :wong: im just going to make a guess and i might be wrong but wouldnt the card not perform as well if the power supply was too weak?

A weak power supply will affect the card, especially with the new cards suckking down so much juice.

The Far Cry problem is probably because you don't have the 1.1 patch. The 1.1 patch fixes all the cah-razy problems that happen with the 6800 line. As for the 3DMark score, 11,000 is nothing to complain about, perfectly normal.
