You know what? I am tired of the libs attacking Bush for this terrorism crap. We had the 9/11 comission and Clinton cabinet officials admit they dropped the ball on live TV, yet it is Bush who is attacked. I say screw this. It is time for the republicans in the House to start firing back. Clinton should not get away with this crap. Berger loses these documents and nothing is said about this. Give me a break.if Clinton even once thought about terrorism instead of stanky snatch we might not have been neck deep in this war.
Oh and don't get me started on the asprin factory. They botch that up and no lib says boo about it. Yet Bush chokes on a pretzle and cause 9/11.
/end of rant.
This is a huge story yet these media sources all gave it a low profile.

Seen this story talked about on Fox news this morning around 5 am central, and the male commentator was going through a couple of news papers and I think the first one was USA Today and it was a nice size article on the front page and then he whipped out the NY times and found it on a 2 inch by 2 inch section on page 17. Hope it gets alot more coverage because this needs looking into.

It won't...because it the fingers would be pointed at the wrong people during this election year.
Daschle says he is concerned by the timing of the leak. WTF? So this is more important then Sandy Bergaler taking these documents? Go dig a hole and crawl in it little Tommy.

Berger steps down as Kerry adviser.
i read the news this morning wrt berger...
he certainly needs investigating to the fullest :)
what does bother me is the time and dedication you have devoted to berger (rightly-so may i add) and the exact opposite energy is devoted to anything related to bush or anyone in his adminstration who drops the ball...
you say those things don't matter... heck this happened pre 9/11... why does it matter now?
You don't criticize your side either. Just comment on the topic and don't worry about my motives. I make no secret that I am biased to conservatism. Why yould you even pose taht question. Further more the administration didn't steal anything. Berger did. Most of the things you bring up that you want attention paid to are for the most part conspiracy theories.
So please don't act now as if you are not bias. Your questioning of me is a complete dodge to the topic at hand.
I commented...
as far as my conspiracy theories are concerned... thats what many of the right-wingers dismiss them as...
right-wingers on this board tend not to pay attention to events or happenings that really matter..
how many right-wingers have commented on the los alamos laptop and information stolen not but a few days ago bringing the entire facility to a standstill? how many right-wingers have commented on the false and erroneous allegations wrt happenings in iraq pertaining to wmd's?
not many at all...
here I have said berger should be fully investigated and yet that appears not to make much difference :rofl
my point was how come this kind of scrutiny is not applied to bush admin personnel by the right-wingers in the political section of the board... I am not saying anything to protect berger because there is no way anyone can condone his retarded actions... :)
if you wish to paint me into a corner instead... be my guest...

It's a good thing he stepped down because his security clearence was probably a signature away from being yanked.
You do not take classified documents home and you especially don't shove notes about them into your pants and jacket. They have bags for that kind of thing for the end of the day. You take notes during a briefing, bring it back to your office, finish your report that place it in the "burn bag" for proper disposal.
Universally stupid.

they had a similar issue (not as high profile a person but a pretty big issue nonetheless) wrt a coupla laptops going awol from CentCom HQ from Tampa's mcdill AFB (lovely place btw :) brilliant shopping)
regardless of what berger says he can't get away from the fact that he completely dropped the ball on this matter... I'm surprised its taken this long for them to pin the issue but its still a problem and a hole that needs plugging

Well this sounds a bit too convenient
When asked, Berger said he returned some classified documents that he found in his office and all of the handwritten notes he had taken from the secure room, but could not locate two or three copies of the highly classified millennium terror report.
Perhaps you have a link to them missing laptops as well. Bleh, politics can suck man...

I think you are getting a bit too excited.. and you seem to be trying to turn this into a liberal vs conservative issue.. This sort of thing isn't unique to any political party.. You are entitled to your opinion of the "liberals", but its seems pretty weak to claim the points you are making based on the topic and information at hand.
I think you are getting a bit too excited..

Udawg!?> EXCITED!?
