The "GF 6800 demos" are up, so i guess the drivers should be on the way too. :)

I knew I should've waited, spent over 2 hours between searching for them and trying to d/l them off bit-torrent. grrrrr...

hehe, na actually I was glad to host the demos for everyone. It was not very time consuming to set up my server or to send you guys PMs. I would do it again if I had to :)

Would there be any difference with these demos and the ones floating around earlier?

I'm not sure. Here are the file sizes of the demos on nV, if you'd like to compare with the ones you have. I have deleted my other ones.

Nalu - 138,572,427 bytes | Created July 19, 2004.
Timbury - 125,051,857 bytes | Created July 20, 2004.
Clear Sailing - 125,215,244 bytes | Created June 03, 2004

My Timbury demo is 141,461,462 bytes.

My Nalu demo is 135,708,093 bytes

My Clear Sailing demo AKA Pirates is the same as yours.

I Downloaded all of my demos on or around July 4th. So it looks like the Nalu and Timbury demos have been altered since then.

Timbury is strange because the file size is smaller than the one I have. Maybe Nvidia dowsized it so that people with less than 1 gig of RAM could run it.

I think I'm going to hang on to my Timbury demo for awhile.

Yeah, after installing Timbury, I also have a Timbury lite option. I don't remember that from before but it could just be me (not remembering it) since I didn't play around with the Timbury one all that much.

bfg 6800 ultra, 256 apeture, p4 3.2 EE, 1gb ram. only demo that runs is sailing and that's slow. timbury lite was 1 fps or less. nalu just plain old crashes before showing anything.

have the 61.76 whql from today installed.

I have the same prob...the sailing demo runs at like 1fps...the timbury one crahses my system and I have to go into safe mode, uninstall my drivers and reinstall to get the garbled screen mess off my monitor...and the nalu one used to crash to desktop with the "send error report to microsoft" now having downloaded the "official" one from nvidia, the nalu just gives me sound...no picture....better than crashing I guess lol.

I've been looking on the Nvidia site, and they still don't even have the 6800 demos up yet. The 56.72 drivers are still there as well. I know there have been links to the 6800 demos on this board. Anyone know where I can find them? Thanks for the help!!!

For those having trouble running the demos, try changing the AGP ap size in your bios to at least 256.
