This is so irritating and its been plagueing my computer usage for as long as i can remember. I prefer my internet explorer windows MAXIMIZED. It makes them easier to close (just push the mouse to the top corner and click), and you can see the whole page.

But whats extremely irritating is when something changes my windows so that when a new window opens it ISNT maximized. Right now all my IE windows pop up to full size but in a window. So it appears to be full screen but when i push the mouse up to the top corner and click (not paying attention to the restore\maximize button) i close the window BEHIND the one im looking at.

Its so irritating.

Is there a way to make windows\IE default all new windows to MAXIMIZED? I think i remember a registry entry about something like this but im hoping theres an easier way to change it back, since it doesnt take long for IE to go back to "irritating mode" after I have windows opening full screen.

please help me out, i feel so dumb for not knowing this... I'll be A+ certified soon, have been using computers for 10 years and I work at a computer shop... but im puzzled by this :retard:

Use Firefox...

Open ONE Internet Explorer window, maximize the window, CTRL+N, then close both. Restart Internet Explorer and see if it's maximized.

Good luck with the A+ test.
