333 memory in 266a board?

So, another dumb noob question:
If I have a 266A mobo, and there is a setting in my memory config in the BIOS that has:

-33
spd
+33

...I use "spd" because my FSB is 133 (see sig). I want to know if I get 333 DDR memory, can I get set the memory setting to +33 (133+33=166x2 = 333!)? My AGP and the FSB *should* be still running at default right? I will be just overclocking my memory right without hurting anything else?

Take it easy on me, I am just trying to find a way to use my extra memory :D

yeah, just the memory will run at an extra 33mhz. try it out. it should work fine with your mushkin.

Cool! The Mushkins have heatsinks on them, but I don't know what spec they are.

I just thought of something. Instead of running all my memory at 166, I can just put the 333 DDR stick in and just have the whole thing running at default 133? That should be better for stability me thinks no?

just try it out, if you have problems, than just stick in the 333.
