Hi all

I just got my BFG 6800 GT card and when I install the card I get Artifacts all over windows however when I reformat everything is fine and after I install my Intel INF 6.0.1.1002 Driver everything is fooked.

Btw I am using Intel 865 PE chipset. So I recommend you stay away from these INF drivers.

That's much appreciated, wish more people could follow your example with that statement above. :)

Now back to your problem, there was a beta Intel .inf driver package that was released shortly after the 1002 set. Here's a direct link to the updated 1008 set.

MUYA,

You tell him not to swear but your icon is giving me the finger ?

Then there's icons with girls shaking their bottoms and rubbing their breasts.

I think visually we might be a little more professional. But that's just me.

If you have a problem with a mod then take it up with them in private. It seems people reciently feel the need to challenge mods publically. This is not a good trend.

In this case you are trying to create a issue where one need not be.

Technoid has a point tho and I didnt see him attacking anyone just simply asking a question really. I dont personally find the baby finger icon offensive nor did I take the few cuss filter evations offensive either, but thats me.

"The Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility installs
Windows* INF files to the target system. These files outline
to the operating system how to configure the Intel(R) chipset
components in order to ensure that the following features
function properly:

- Core PCI and ISAPNP Services
- AGP Support
- IDE/ATA33/ATA66/ATA100 Storage Support
- SATA Storage Support
- USB Support
- Identification of Intel(R) Chipset Components in
the Device Manager"

A quote from the read me txt. It's the top update here:

http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df/filter_results.asp?strOSs=45&strTypes=DRV%2CARC&ProductID=816&OSFullName=Windows*+XP+Home+Edition&submit=Go%21

Works great on my 875P and GT. Don't download #2, just #1.

These intel inf driver's still screw up my 6800U and my 6800GT (in diff systems). Get artifacting in alot of games, unless I set the AGP controller to PCI-to-PCI which means it runs in PCI mode, which is slow, and I get frames for my 6800U that are worse then a 6800, but better then a 5950U.
