I found a CHAINTECH VNF3-250 & AMD ATHLON64 2800+ @ Mwave.com for 230.75 shipped 3day Select. Is that a good deal?

bah, go for the NF3-250... PCI/AGP locks are a good thing, as with those you may be able to attain ~3200 speeds with that 2800...

What he said! Nforce3 250 & A64-2800 sounds like a sweet deal at $230. Go for it :)

That's a retail boxed 2800, right? Make sure.

pricewatch has the 2800 for about 140 oem and chaintech 's go for over 100, so i'd say its a pretty good deal. just make sure its new and not refurbished, though it still would be a pretty good deal.

Actually, Newegg has the Chaintech Nforce3 250 for only $88 (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-152-043&depa=0)
