I've seen several references to it in other threads, but when it happened to me I figure I would ask . . why is this bug all of a sudden in the 62.xx series and any ideas if they are aware & fixing it?

I'd report the bug to your card manufacturer so we can see it get fixed :)

Saw that problem on 62.11s, but I haven't tried any drivers higher than that. My fix was to uninstall the 62.11s and try a different driver. Well there's another solution: press ctrl-alt-del and end the explorer.exe task. File->New Task and run explorer. That'll get you up and running again until you forget that right-click on the desktop will kill explorer again.

WinXP
SP1
Logitech Mx700
DX9b
Shuttle SN45Gv1
FastWrites Enabled
BFG 6800GT using Leadtek Ultra bios

They say it's still there on the 62.20's also. Is it on the 62.01's anyone know?

Here is a possible solution. Are you running the Intellipoint software, or the Logitech software for your mouse?

I had to uninstall the Logitech software, it caused many issues...blech.

I'm using the Logitech Mouseware stuff. I've been using Logitech's Mouseware drivers for oh...eight years. ;) What problems have you been having? My experience has been excellent all around. My only complaint would be occaisionally I can't use Mouse buttons 4 & 5 in some games. I always attributed that to poor game programming, but is it the Logitech drivers that cause that?
