I took it upon myself to see if there were any performance increases or decreases from the new fxc.exe when comparing it to the old fxc.exe. Below are graphs showing my results of benchmarking the 4 demos that are included with Far Cry. One odd thing I did notice was SM2.0 was faster in the training level when compared to SM3.0. I rebenched and the results were the same. Can anyone offer an explanation?

As you can see there are no performance differences. I didnt have the time to compare IQ but I noticed nothing out of the ordinary on any of the tests.
Notes:
-I did notice that the rocks in the Regulator level did not lighten up when a flashlight was put on them. I beleive this is a bug with the 1.2 patch.
-Sound was ENABLED
-Trilinear was forced via the control panel with all optimizations set to off.
The system that the tests were run on is as follows:
Pentium 4 2.4c @ 3.0
Geforce 6800 GT @ 400/1100 (Default is 350/1000)
1GB OCZ PC4000 3-4-4-8 1:1
400 Watt Antec PSU with 18A on 12+
Abit IC7-G 875p motherboard
