I was a bit lame for someone to cut and paste your post word for word. It's probably worth it's own thread though. The cut and paste link to the Gainward forum doesn't work. Hopefully this one will. http://forum.gainward.de/viewtopic.php?t=374&sid=d3ed094659f421e2d6817fc3eb333d4f

@ BMG

Hi "BiosModdingGod", :) or what is BMG standing for?!?

...just kiddin`

I have a favor to ask:

Since you know how to edit 6800 Bios and stuff, and Gainward isn`t posting any changelogs may i ask you to "open and analyze" some details in the new GW bioses?

Me and many other "Golden Sample :angel2: " users are still using the XFX Bios (or Leadtek) with good results. (for me XFX 425/1200 stable).

We really like to know what is changed in the new bioses regarding some points:

-What is the VCore for the 6800 Ultra "Golden Sample" Bios (430/1200), and the "Normal" 6800 Ultra (400/1100) bios?

-Why is the fan behaviour so strange in the GW bioses?

And perhaps other important things like throttling temps and other things you might surely better know than me :)

We, the GW users would really appreciate it!

If you don`t have the time or the mood to to it, it`s of course no problem! :)

But you know, asking never hurts...

Have a nice evening guys!

Bye bye
Sven

Come on guys. This is a community. Please look for a stickie or another post that best suites your question or information before opening a new thread. This only make more work for the mods.
