I got in on the best buy deal and i got screenshot happy

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Asus K8V SE Deluxe
Geforce 6800 GT OC
1 GB Kinston HyperX PC4000 RAM
2x 200 GB HDs

Game Settings = High Quality, 1280x1024, all extras on! . I never drop under 60-70 FPS.

After watching those movies. I'd have to agree with Kyle in Hardocp. Doom 3 doesnt need anti aliasing that much.


However For the moment this thread can stay, But probably gonna be moved to Doom 3 discussion forum guys.

Thanks for the vids, they were cool to see. I'm a little bit sad the bad guys are hard to see in this game, but I'm hoping it's just the video and my monitor. Also, why isn't the flashlight round? Why is it jagged like in everyone's screen shots, even ultra quality. Kinda takes away from the beauty

My fears rest....Doom3 is technologically and graphically and gameplay wise superior to anything out there (gameplay might be handed to the original doom, but its all good :))

Hah. That's cool. Those vids don't quite do the IQ justice though. I have very similar system to you and I iamgine it would look and run the same on both ours.

On another note, you cheated to get the chainsaw didn't you, because that was shot at almost exactly the same point that I am up to in the game and I have no chanisaw!

very nice screenshots... don't wanna watch the vids because of slow internet tho =\
