I recently had a bad flash with my 6800 gt, the card won't even load, so I went and found a friend with a pci gf2 mx and put it in. Low and behold I load up using the pci card, only to run nvflash442 and and it only showed my gf2mx. I have both the 6800 gt and the gf2 mx running, and I really don't want to have a $400 paperweight. I think I need to use /i to force a device index but I am unsure of the correct syntax. My 6800 gt is located on pci bus 2, device 0, function 0.

It may have cost $400, but it's definately a very cool looking paperweight, don't you think?

Download nvflash 5.08, the link is aviable here:
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=33298

and then try reflashing it, some people are reporting problems with nvflash 4.42 on 6800-series cards

I would think using an ATI PCI cvard might be a better idea. That way Nvflash won't detect it and may only detect your 6800.

I was glad I still had (have) a working voodoo3 pci. I used it when I made a mess of flashing my old 9800pro to xt (left it as pro in the end)

Do you mean %root%\mode.com > all ? to turn on all display adapters?

guess not because that didn't work
