Your card is probably getting a bit old now...should consider upgrading. 6800GT is the best bang for buck, but if you cant afford that then the normal 6800 card or a 9800pro is your best bet.

If BF1942 is all you plan on playing, your Ti4200 will be just fine. The CPU you have will bottleneck any newer card you might purchase.

The specs in your signature look a little vauge, it says you have a 2.1 Athlon? So I'm assuming that means you have an AthlonXP 2100 (1.73ghz), and not an AthlonXP 3000 (2.16ghz). But either way, one of those CPU's paired with a TI4200 should be enough for BF1942. But don't expect to play above 800x600 resolution and I definetly would not recommend using any AA/AF.

If you have an AthlonXP 3000, then stick with that and just upgrade to a 6800 video card if you want more performance. If you have an AthlonXP 2100, then I'd recommend an Athlon64 cpu, Nforce3 250 motherboard, and 6800 video card.
