601Mb of sheer gaming goodness. It can't steal Doom 3's thunder, but it sure is a good play for those that don't have doom 3 yet.

I just filled out their form. So, do they check my specs and if there is an open spot they'll contact me? Is that how this works?

Nope. There is no discrimination. If there are spots left open, then you would have gotten a window straight away with your Beta Key on it. They would also send it to your email address. If there is no spots left, then i don't think that they would contact.

Downloading right now, saw the game in PC Gamer and it looks fun. I hope the whole environment is destructible, I like straight up destruction... :retard:

the whole environment isn't destructable, but there is plenty of destruction to be made... Waging war of other cultures is fun... (Ingame only. never try in real life)

Man, I just got attacked by a HUGE cocaroach! I downloaded Warhammer and was trying out the tutorials when all of a sudden a cocaroach the length of my thumb to my wrist walked into my room! I jumped up and said "Oh SH!!T!" It stopped right between me and my computer and there was a standoff. (Yeah, I'm a wuss when it comes down to roaches, especially if I can HEAR their footsteps!) I tiptoed out to the laundryroom where we keep the bug spray and when I came back I found it hiding under my TV. I sprayed a quarter of the bottle under my TV stand and finally killed the bugger. Anyway, that killed about an hour of my time because I had to wipe my whole floor to get rid of the smell of bug spray. Ughhh....

I'm going to try to play Warhammer again but hopefully I won't get any more distractions!

My fav team is the Space Wolves Space Marines. I can usually run through a fairly large army with my Dreadnought/Terminator armies pretty quick, and after that, it's time for some base raping. lol
