View Full Version : Help, 6800NU problem
I turn my computer off with no drivers. Is there anything I can do?
...turn it on?
It doesn't work. It makes a beeping sound which my guide said means the motherboard can't activate the video card.

That beep from the card usually means the card isnt being read by board or its not recieving power.

Like I said, I uninstalled the driver and turned off the system before installing new drivers. Is there anyway to fix this?
Is the power plugged into the card? Is the card seated correctly? The computer will boot fine if you don't have drivers installed. Recheck the power connection. BTW is it on its own rail and how many watts is your PSU?
I'm just throwing questions out here because you gave us so little info to go on. ;)
AHAHAHA I said how many mhz is your psu. LOL SLAPS HIM SELF.
Drivers have no effect on your computer booting or not. Make sure your card is seated correctly and that its getting power.
Umm, how do I know if it's seated correctly?
Bah, the OEM site doesn't give PSU information. I need to find my screwdriver again...
Edit: That explains it, I have an old 300W PSU. I need a 300W PSU or greater.
Edit2: Thank You everyone. :)
OMG it wasn't connected to the PSU in the 1st place. I'm a n00b at installing.
Thanks again, it works now.
