I'm running a evga 6800 gt oc to 400/1.1 with an antec 430 psu. At stock speeds, everything is fine. When I OC, the turtle shell has a small section that blinks 3 times during the "scene" and then I see nothing else wrong with anything else. It's from the OC, but should I be worried? Thanks.

Sounds to me like you've clocked it past it's threshold, and if it were my card, I'd back off the clocks a bit.

yeah lower the OC by increments of 1 mhz until you dont see that blinking. Thats an artifact. U should actually get a better score when you dont see that artifact.

Yep i got melon to can't get 400 core without haveing retarded turtle :p , eVGA got crappy thermal tape on , wonder if replaceing it with Arctic Silver would change anything.

I would apply some AS5 ASAP. Also, I have modded eVGA GT BIOS for 1.4v if you would like to give that a try (this alone raised my artifact free overclock from 380 to 410).

From what I've read the GT is @ 1.3, the Ultra is at 1.4.

That test is the best test for testing for artifacting. Although I had to lower my autodetected o/c of 423/1100 to 415 to get rid of the turtle shell blinking/shimmer.

I set that test to run 2x to test artifacting, sometimes it get's by the 1st ok at higher overclocks, but the second (or third) will reveal it's too much. At 415 I'm good tho.
