Hi My cumputer is acting strangely. I leave my computer on and when I get up in the morning I find my 60 Gig. HD is full when I know for a fact that there is at least 10 Gig. free. I restart the computer and everything is correct again. This has happened several times and is quite annoying. I have scanned for viruses and found none. So I dont think that is the problem. I am running oem version of windows xp Home edition w/sp1. And yes system restore is turned off so thats not it. I would apreciate any feedback on this problem. If u need more of my system specs please tell me specificaly what u need. Thx again.

I just noticed that my HD is constantly writing to itself I dont know what program is doing so or where iot is being written again any help would be apreciated.

Sometimes, a quirk with ZoneAlarm's logs will bloat like a microwaved goldfish. I had the problem once a long time ago where the ZAtemp.log (or something like that) kept bloating 4K every 3 seconds cumulatively.

In other words, it would hit 4K...8K...16K...32K...64K....etc.
Within 5 minutes, the log would eat 4MBs of space.

Had to uninstall ZoneAlarm complete and remove every trace of it from my system & registry. After a reinstall of ZoneAlarm, it was all fine and dandy again.

Not likely that this is it but what are your pagefile settings by chance?
