Hi,

I have just installed the latest nvidia drivers (61.77) after formatting my PC. The installation went well, except now when windows has fully loaded, the screen goes blank and then comes back about 1-2 seconds later.

I have tried uninstalling the drivers and re-installing them, then even installing older drivers, but cant seem to fix the problem.

I have since formatted my PC again to revert to my original nvidia drivers, which I had no problems with before, but the problem still occurs!

This is the first format I have performed since purchasing the graphics card some time ago.

Please could you help me in trying to resolve this problem.

nVidia GeForce 4 Ti4800, DirectX9.0b.

TIA

Michael

This is only my opinion ,since I've owned and still do a Ti4200,and Ti4600
That with Doom 3 or alot of games for that matter I would run 53.03 or 56.72.
just because it's newer (with that card you have ) driver doesn't mean it's better...And with a 59xx series card or 68xx series card I wouldn't think of using anything but the beta 62.22 drivers ..way better than any certified
61.76 or 61.77 driver .
