Hi, everyone!
I've been testing OnSpeed (an internet accelerator) for some days now. It works quite well but i'd like it would be possible to connect "listening" through a proxy server. Do you know any similar program that allows connecting through a proxy?

I remember to have tried Squid some time ago. I didn't like it (at least the windows implementation). Does it now performs compression?
Don't think so. If you come across anything let me know. I was writing my own compressing and encrypting web proxy (for surfing from work)... I got so far then lost motivation :)

It's a pity you lost your motivation. Anyway, another thing i dislike about Squid is the idea of continuosly running as WinNT service, no graphical GUI to tweak options, etc...
So far, i have tried several "accelerators" with some or none success :ORDER:
MyProxy is good because is highly configurable and have zillions of options. OTOH, it seems to fail with my firewall, even if i opened some needed ports.
I haven't been unable to properly test Propel Accelerator, so i cannot comment on this one.
So far, the one that is best working is OnSpeed. Pity that it hasn't got cascaded proxy support.
