when is this card coming out? looks like a good xmas present to ask for. i am kinda proud of myself the gf3ti200 i have now i got for xmas last year and it still going strong oc'd to 225/525 everytime i start my system. it's not a bad card but you can't turn on aniso, and that is what i like.

i was playing nolf2 last night and just for the hell of it i turned on, 2x only, and that was the difference between playable and not.

thanks for the info

HardOCP on Monday had a response from BestBuy stated that mid November they will have 9500 cards so I'd imagine it would be close to then.....

he's asking about the 9700(non-pro). Best Buy is going to have 9500Pro in stock in mid-November, that doesn't really say anything about regular 9500s or regular 9700s.

yeah i would see the 9700(regular) selling for around $200.00 bucks considering ATI is only allowing oems to build them. what we need now is a few more nVidia oems (aka: leadtek, asus, gainward, etc) to jump ship and the prices of ATI cards should fall.

hell, if the NV30 would hurry up I could probably just buy a pro version.

StealthHawk,

please re-read my post. I never said that was the date of the non-pro. I said imagine that the other cards would be close to that. And yes I did accidently leave off the pro. Sorry

and again, i don't know what the R9700 has to do with the R9500Pro. since one card is made by ATI partners, and the other is made by ATI. not trying to be a smartass, but i was asking a serious question.

From what I found out the Core ICs 9500pro and 9700 are availble now. It will just take time for vendors to slap them on boards and ship'em.
