82 in stock. All gone by tomorrow, I am sure. Newegg makes a lot of $$$ on poor suckers who buy them for $100+ MSRP.

I got my Gainward 6800 Ultra Golden Sample from ZipZoom for 530 bucks, a little bit over the $499.00 pricetag of most 6800 ultra cards but it was worth it to get this card over an EVGA or something like that. I don't feel too beat up considering how hard it is to get the 6800 ultra anyway. 30 Bucks wasn't too much extra to spend especially living 70 miles from zipzoom and the 2 day free shipping turns into free overnight shipping ;-)

I ordered one last week and got it on tuesday ,the price was a little high but I been trying to get a new card for nearly three months now,And I just gave up on my X800XTPE ever comeing in at compusa,I think the 6800ultra will be just as good if not better in certain games and I think nvidia will get the drivers up to par on the games that might be a little slower since they have always had a good driver team.It been a while since I had a nvidia card, been useing my 9800pro for a while witch is not a bad card, and since newegg don't charge tax where I am it comes out to about the same price as I was going to pay for the X800XTPE.so all good now.

Sorry, but the following is VERY inaccurate...

I got this and it is totally awesome. This is a replacement for my ATI x800 XT Platinum. It is so much better than the ATI card. It has better drivers and runs my games twice as well. It also beat...

My BS meter is pegged out....

he said it runs his games twice as fast as the x800 xtpe. we have no idea what games they are. also nvidia drivers are better than ati's.

Umm twice as well? I'm no fanboy by any stretch and even my BS alarm is getting a few rings out of that comment...

yeah twice does seem a bit too much.

Not trying to be argumentative but I am running the latest FW 61.77 on my 6800GT and the Catalyst 4.8 Betas on my X800 Pro and I have no issues at all with either one, so let's not make such easily refuted generalizations, shall we?

Actually ati drivers are better, as it will automatically optimize the optimal trilinear filtering without the need of user intervention.

You're probably the only person on this board who thinks that. Most of us here prefer the control that NVIDIA's drivers give us.
