Powerstrip 3.29 question about image quality in games..

Someone in another forum I go to says this program will make "games will look 10x better with this proggy no exaggeration" his exact words. Is this true? I figured some of you guys use it. I'm not sure it would help too much with the hardware i'm running now but I will be upgrading soon so I wanted to know if this was true and if so is there a guide or something to show you how to get better image quality in games with powerstrip? thx :)

he doesn't know any better. it won't make games look 10x better. it allows you to max out your monitors refreshrate..very limited d3d and ogl tweaks, overclock videocard, adjust color. all things you can do. sure, if you had your refreshrate at crap, and ur d3d and ogl at crap settings, and default settings on videocard, and default color, and you tweaked all of that at one time, it would make games look better.

Most of the available adjustments in Powerstrip can be done via RivaTuner. I have a hard time justifying the fact that Powerstrip isn't free as a result.
