I was just wondering when or if there will be a specific Nvidia driver file/files for Mandrake 9.0.
Im used to using other distros with a specific file and it always working. I have had no luck getting the 3D working in Mandrake 9.0. I have used the tar.gz files to no avail.

If anybody from Nvidia is listening can you please release an .rpm files for Mandrake 9.0. I ve never had any problem getting my Nvdia working by rpm method.
Also have you had a look at the mandrake 9.0 XF86Config-4 file.
It doesnt look like the one you have listed in your How to. Or like any one I have seen before. Familiar but not exact.
Also I went to the Mandrake club forum and someone mentioned that the Nvidia drivers compiled for MK9.0 are available, for mandrake club members only. Some guy said" the Nvidia drivers arent free" Blah. THis is worse than MS inasking us to pay up to get proper support even though I have already bought boxed version of Linux and payed good money for an Nvidia card(4ti4400)
Bull****

I need to be productive on my comp and not getting this sorted out is a real hassle.
