nVidia drivers + 2.5.x kernel

I've found a couple patches, but none of them applied cleanly.

Has anyone got this working?

I'm currently running kernel 2.5.45 with nvidia kernel/glx version 1.0.3123. I've used different patches, but still there are some bugs exiting xfree. Probably somewhere in the binary code from nvidia, besides this minor bug it runs fine.

The patch I'm currently using is from Chris Wedgwood, devfs ain't fixed so I edited another patch I had, I don't know the author anymore, but both patches worked, and both had the same error after leaving X.

Here's my patch (used cat to add the two patches (devfs)) if it doesn't work save the second patch at line 241 I think to a different file.

Looks like the author of the patch for 2.5.44 I first used did the same, look at http://web.starman.ee/mdkdev/ for the patch. or directly use http://web.starman.ee/mdkdev/patch-nv-1.0-3123.gz .
