Hey guys, I got my Leadtek 6800 Ultra and I've been tinckering around, still not 100% certain that everything is flawless, but I'm still testing :) (I'm afraid some problems might rise after long usage times, so I need to do a stability test). Anyways, here are some initial tests comparing the two, I thought some would appreciate this since all I ever see are comparisons to the last gen and not older cards.
Specs: Pentium 4 3.0C, Abit IC7-G (i875), 1Gb DDR 400, 2*120 Gb 7200 RPM 8Mb cache Hd's. Everything at stock speeds, 61.77 Forceware drivers.
I'm aware that I'm cpu limited so I'll try overclocking and stuff later.
Please share any tips or tweaks if you have any!
I can't say I'm not happy,3, 4 and 5 times the performance is nothing to sniff at, infact I give it a  not to mention AA and AF which are pretty much unusable on the Geforce 3.
One last point, I'm not running Sp2 and also not using Dx9c, will this have much of an effect? I'll do an all out update of everything later on.
More to come:
