That's nice and all but could you shed some light on what is exactly modded about these?

By the looks of the .inf it has some Direct3D performance/quality enhancements.

Nothing for OpenGL unfortunately. I'm hoping the next official release by nVidia has some more OpenGL options. The public wants some of the old options back, such as Triple Buffering, Texture Sharpening, 4xSupersampling AA, etc.

I use a program called NVHardPage 2.0. It has all those options and more available.

But they aren't available from the control panel. And Triple Buffer is broken in 6x.xx drivers.

Triple Buffering is only absent for OpenGL. D3D supports upto Quad Buffering without any tweaks necessary. That's because it's an application controlled feature.

I realize its application controlled. Thats precisely why the option needs to be there. Some older games don't take advantage of Triple/Quad buffering so it would benefit us in some situations, to be able to force it through the driver's control panel. Believe it or not, I have actually witnessed nVidia losing customers to ATI over this very issue. Because ATI has the option to force Triple buffer in OpenGL, nVidia doesn't.

Agreed. But this won't get OGL Triple Buffering working. That's what we're really crying for. :)
