View Full Version : FreeBSD 61.11: XFree and audio cannot be used simultaneously

Guys!

I've installed the latest nvidia driver. Xfree works without interrupt now. But when I try to use audio having XFree running (mplayer or mp3blaster in another console) I have my machine hanged. Audio is nvidia's MCP (A7N266-C motherboard).
FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE XFree is build from the latest ports.
Does someone have any suggestions about it?

Is there a person who has nForce chipset, uses FreeBSD 5.2.1, X 4.4.0, video & onboard audio with ACPI? I could make it to work WITHOUT ACPI. Have anyone made it to work WITH ACPI?
