Okay, all you would be users of pirated software, quit e-mailing me about where to obtain Doom 3 Alpha, I will ignore your e-mails and trash them immediately! I will not give you any links or even tell you where to obtain a copy! Now thats it! Stop it!:mad: :mad: :mad:

Actually I thought the graphics were a joke. The screenies look much better than the real thing.

I just said: "EEEEEEEEWWWWWWWW, I have seen better hentai".

Well....if you consider:

-This is an Alpha

-The default resolution is SUPER-LOW

-This is an Alpha

The graphics look pretty friggin sweet to me...

Try using r_mode 5

This will raise the resolution to 1024*768 and make things look A LOT better.

If you look at the lighting effects, it really is impressive...

Overall, I am blown away by the quality of this Alpha...hopefully, this is a good indication of where things are going...You can bet the final retail version will be nothing short of incredible...

I took the pic that SSC posted in my other thread, that isn't even running NV30 mode. I think the graphics rock if you know how to set it up.;)

There are more polys in Quake 1 than in Doom 3. Lighting looks worse than in Quake 1. Speed is faster than Quake 1.

BTW nothing is as slow as Tenebrae. :)

So far playing Doom 3 in my dreams looks really bad.
