Man, today has just been a horrible day for me. This morning my back door was left open and my chihuahua went outside to bask in the sunlight and someone took her! I feel so bad, I don't know where she is and how she is doing. Man its horrible, I doubt I'll ever see her again, once I get my hands on the person(s) who took her, they won't even be able to walk! I swear! Its like taking a member of my family, and she is! I am so mad... anyways, she is white and has pink skin. She has some kinda dark spots on her back, so eh, if you are in california and see anything that resembles her! help!:(

Its a pocket size little doggie , very sweet :p

i always thought that chihuahuas were noisy/fiesty dogs myself.

sorry to hear about your dog :( but like DVS said, are you sure she didn't just run away? surely the thief doesn't know that your particular dog is worth $700, unless it's someone you know.

no, it knows the way back home and it goes outside for sun. Last time someone tried to take it, I caught them and got the dog back. This time I wasn't around for that.

what kind of terrible neighborhood do you live in where dogs aren't safe in their own yards :(

It's rare that a person knows that a chihuahua is so expensive. Maybe it was a person related to the first person that stole your dog. Look for his records at police.

Oh man. I'm feel bad for you [eNv]-LORD-eX-Bu.

And I know exactly what you mean about the family member part. I'm still getting over the euthanesia of my AmStaff two weeks ago. She started acting really tired (to the point that she was practically falling over from exhaustion), so I took her to the vet on the 19th of October. Mind you this all started the evening of the 18th (she was normal before that- but usually she warms the bed up for me until I go to bed, since my wife usually hits it before me, and she didn't Monday night, which is unusual, and we noticed). Anyway, the doctor diagnosed her with a form of anemia related to her white blood cells destroying the read, and her prognosis was extremely bad. I had to make the tough call, and when I went back into the vet's room just prior to the procedure, she immediately sensed that I was upset (bad) about something, and seemed to forget all about how she felt, trying to cheer me up, kissing my face (dog kisses, anyway), snuggling up to me. That was the hardest thing I think I've ever had to do. :(

Anyway, she was almost 9 years old, which for an AmStaff is pretty close to their normal longevity anyway (11 years on average). We found her abandoned by the roadside when she was about 4 months old, and she was as much a member of our family as anyone in this house.

I hope you find your dog.

Ok earlier we(me and a marine) snuck by the house, we definately heard a small dog barking, sounds like mines, but until I can see it I have no definate ID. Once that happens, if it does, I am filing complaint to police.

I suggest you use your powers (after ID'ing the cute thang :)) and break into the house feeling trigger happy.

LOL, man I wouldn't wanna steal your guy'ses dog, haha, BOOM! anyways, they tried to take the rest of the dogs today when they were outside, caught them in the same car as about a year ago calling the dogs into their car. What the hell are these people thinking? I am almost positive that they have my dog. I don't know if I am gonna press charges, just wanna get past this, but them trying to take the rest of the dogs really pisses me off.

Not yet, I'm letting the police do that for me. Its gonna take at least a day to find out. I'll tell you guys when I do. And I'll post pics of her also.

Why wait for the police?
If I had such a small dog I would not wait. I would literally bust into the house and turn it upside down to find it. If it isn't there then make sure you tell the police. :)

My dog is too ferocious to be taken. German Sheppard. :)

He is "funny cute" (I quote myself, btw it isn't funny and cute it's just funny cute) but deadly to anyone other than 1 of our 4 family members.

I used to have a german shepard, her name was "Mercy" lol, great dog, fast as a nugget and could jump over these tall fences around my old yard. Anyways, I don't wanna get arrested.;)

you should definitely press charges, especially if they tried to take your dogs on many occassions, and finally succeeded. bastards like that deserve whatever punishment they can get

Dude hope it works out. My sister has the same type of dog - 9 years old and I mean she has the best personality. She's is so loveable and I would kill if someone took her. Sorry that's way it is. They do bark a lot but they'r are great little dogs if you ask me. Again hope you get the dog back and all is well.
